Celebrating the wonder of the natural world, Botanical Atlas showcases an eclectic array of flora and fauna, crafted with timeless elegance and hued in rich, sophisticated colour palettes. This season takes us on a global voyage and an exploration of magical and fantastical forms. Following Sir Arthur Liberty’s passion for discovery, the collection references his remarkable expeditions to Japan, China, Persia and India during the 1880s-1910s. From trailing Chinoiserie motifs, through to miniature Persian Garden illustrations, Indian Moghul painting and art from the Japanese Edo period, this intrinsically Liberty collection reinterprets traditional techniques with modern accents.

The new Liberty Interiors collection Botanical Atlas celebrates our historic lineage of craftsmanship and design through a cross-pollination of styles and visual narratives – with Liberty wallpaper printed on premium non-woven substrates. Expertly printed using traditional and cutting-edge techniques, the wallpapers exude luxurious textures and richly-defined colour.

Hand-painted in the Liberty design studio, Berry Tree is a signature artwork of the Botanical Atlas collection, celebrating forms and textures found in nature – following Arthur Liberty’s expeditions around the world. Berry Tree features stylised berries suspended from elegant branches in delicate linear formations, whilst the trail is printed using specialist print techniques, offering a rich pigment emulating traditional block printing effects.

Please note: Our wallpaper rolls are approximately 10.05m long within 1.5% accuracy. Hanging instructions are sent with every roll and to be followed by the installer before hanging. Please check the direction of the pattern before hanging. We recommend the use of a light, ready-mixed adhesive suitable for ‘paste-the-wall’ application.
