Following Sir Arthur Liberty’s passion for discovery, the collection references his remarkable expeditions to Japan, China, Persia and India during the 1880s-1910s. From trailing Chinoiserie motifs, through to miniature Persian Garden illustrations, Indian Moghul painting and art from the Japanese Edo period, this intrinsically Liberty collection reinterprets traditional techniques with modern accents.

The new Liberty Interiors collection Botanical Atlas celebrates our historic lineage of craftsmanship and design through a cross-pollination of styles and visual narratives – with Liberty wallpaper printed on premium non-woven substrates. Expertly printed using traditional and cutting-edge techniques, the wallpapers exude luxurious textures and richly-defined colour.

This captivating print is inspired by the book ‘Around the World in 80 Trees’ by Jonathan Drori – featuring a panoramic landscape of stylised trees from all over the world. Designed in a painting style, inspired by Indian garden paintings, it’s further characterised by meandering streams, delicate grass and imagined Liberty floral tree.
