FuturLiberty is an exploration of the unexpected in the Liberty archive, resulting in a reinvention of Liberty Fabrics – inspired by, and celebrating the artistic movements of Futurism, Vorticism, and a century of avant-garde. In collaboration with interior designer Federico Forquet, our designers have curated a collection of interior fabrics that explores Liberty’s archetypal Arts and Crafts designs -drawing on the experimental work of famed Liberty designer, Bernard Nevill. The reinterpreted artworks appear with a refreshed intensity and loud optimism, with newly created designs featuring surprising geometrics, lively abstractions, and rhythmic lines.

FuturLiberty is an exploration of the unexpected in the Liberty archive, resulting in a reinvention of Liberty Fabrics – inspired by, and celebrating the artistic movements of Futurism, Vorticism, and a century of avant-garde. The artworks have been carefully translated into a beautiful array of woven, embroidered, and printed fabrics featuring surprising geometrics, lively abstractions, and rhythmic lines.

Reworked from an archive design, Zig Zag Velvet evokes the high-energy liveliness of jazz dance – featuring a jacquard velvet that combines cut and uncut velvet to create additional tones and textures. Use it for drapery, upholstery, and decorative accessories such as cushions.
