The Modern Archive Collection from Liberty Fabrics Interiors celebrates the brand’s long-standing legacy as the home of design. The collection’s six colour stories pay homage to the passions of the collector and the beautiful objects that have long been curated within Liberty’s wood-panelled walls. Pewter, Lapis, Lichen, Lacquer, Jade and Dragonfly tell the story of the emporium through the ages, uniting a diverse archive of hand-drawn designs. Each one has been reinterpreted and reimagined for the next generation of Liberty furnishing fabrics.

The Modern Archive Collection spotlights Liberty’s rich history of storytelling for every generation of modern interiors – the crisp blues and whites of the Lapis colour story are inspired by the fashionable Dutch and Persian porcelain of the late 19th century.

Zennor Arbour was created in the Liberty Fabrics design studio, formed from original pencil sketches of flowers that build into a widely branching rose tree. Floral elements of the original appear here reimagined in a mono-coloured interpretation. It is expertly printed in Italy onto our Ladbroke linen – a beautiful heavyweight base created from pure linen. Ladbroke linen has an excellent drape due to its superior weight, and is also well-suited for use in domestic upholstery. The fine weave allows a beautiful print interpretation.
