For Spring Summer 2025, you are cordially invited to join Liberty Fabrics as we raise the curtain on Retold, a 150-year anniversary theatrical spectacular. Divided into four acts – The Stage, The Cast, The Audience, The Next Act – this collection goes behind scenes of the iconic Tudor building and into the eclectic emporium where our story is retold. Crafted from two timber ships, the Liberty flagship forms the perfect stage to welcome this play’s cast of influential characters who have paved the way for an array of artistic movements. Dressed to entice and delight its viewers, from music legends and models to writers and actors, Liberty’s customers are our most inspiring muse. Whoever steps through the elaborate façade is taken on an extraordinary journey of magic, mystery, and charm. Finally, as we move onto the next act, a new generation of designers begin to experiment with the boundaries of technology and art.

Walter’s Meadow takes cues from the illustrative style of Arts and crafts artist Walter Crane. Tiny daisies and dashes of grass form a pointillist meadow which from a distance create a delicate, abstract texture. This print is part of The Cast act of Retold, bringing into the spotlight this play’s cast of architects, writers, artists, and designers have paved the way for the artistic movements Liberty have heralded since our doors first opened – leading figures that have played an integral part in weaving new narratives into the fabric of the building.

Our Tana Lawn™ cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in our very own Liberty Printing Mill, located between Milan and Lake Como in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it can be used to create everything from simple separates to spectacular statement pieces.
