Liberty returns home for its 150th anniversary interiors collection, The House of Liberty. In celebration, the studio looked to its illustrious past, documented in the drawings and manuscripts by the pioneering designers and forward-thinking artists of the time – unveiling the aesthetic legacies treasured in the Regent Street flagship. Drawing on pivotal moments that have defined Liberty as the leading tastemaker and artistic innovator of interior design, this collection embodies decades of cultural shifts in a captivating array of harmonious juxtapositions. Revived through a contemporary lens and exhibited through the design house’s signature colour palette, The House of Liberty pays homage to a legacy of craftsmanship and artistry.

Dating back to the late 1870s when Thomas Wardle provided Liberty with its first-ever printed fabrics, Etched Bloom honours the beginning of the design house’s textile journey. Discovered in the renowned Liberty archive, the artwork has been meticulously reassembled and redrawn by the London design studio. Inspired by Indian wood blocks with a quintessentially Liberty Art Nouveau feel, this outlined floral is in constant flux, creating a mesmerising canvas of bold, stylised blooms amidst swirling foliage. Expertly printed in Italy onto a linen base with a heavy drape and soft tumbled finish, Etched Bloom is suitable for upholstery, drapery, cushions, and accessories.
