Divided into three distinct narratives – Craftsmanship, Collaboration, and Collectibles – ‘From the Studio’ unveils design sketches and archival studies, shedding light on Liberty ’s innovative artistic practice. This collection reveals the journey from inspiration through drawing, painting, and experimenting with digital artwork to the final printed textile.

Carefully engineered into a check pattern by the design studio, this heritage patchwork originates from a collection of hand-painted artworks found within the Liberty archive. Botanical illustrations of chrysanthemums, roses, tulips, daisies, peonies, and clematis flowers elegantly peek through a transparent grid, while interplays of light and shadow infuse the design with a modern yet timeless allure.
