Liberty’s Ianthe Bloom duvet set features two standard pillowcases and a double duvet cover, all crafted from luxurious cotton bonneville – a silky-smooth and soft material with a lightweight finish. Printed at our very own Italian fabric mill, Ianthe was originally devised as a wallpaper border in c.1902 by French artist René Beauclair and reimagined for the ‘swinging London’ market by the Haward Studio, a family textile firm who sold designs to Liberty for three generations, from the Edwardian era to the 1980s. Use the set as a pop of vibrancy within a pared-down bedroom set-up, or go all out with jewel-toned velvet lampshades and clashing curtains to embrace the trend for full-blown maximalism.
