The Shining Heart pendant necklace is another distinctive, oxidised silver offering from Acanthus – the fine jewellery line by designer Nicole McIver, whose art history background informs every last detail.

This delicate chain necklace features a small heart pendant with a miniature gold crown and a rose cut ruby-encrusted gold star at the centre. Hand-applied 24 carat gold foil is painstakingly cut, placed and bonded to the silver using the ancient Korean gilding technique of ‘keum-boo’ to create the pendant’s contrasting golden details. Team it with a pair of the designer’s talismanic drop earrings for an enchanting evening look.
